Garaizar Farmhouse is a restored traditional Basque farmhouse located in a carefully maintained natural environment at the foothills of Mount Jata. It opened its doors to the public in 1991. It offers 6 double rooms with views, a living-dining room with a fireplace exclusively for guests, a spacious terrace, porch, and garden. Satellite TV in the rooms is ideal for relaxation and sports activities.

The farmhouse is well connected, close to Bilbao, the new airport, and the coast in the town of Maruri-Jatabe, in the province of Biscay.
Garaizar Farmhouse is also home to a museum with a water mill of the same name. Guided tours of the mill can be arranged, allowing travelers to learn about the characteristics of this ancestral water supply system for the local inhabitants.

The nearest beaches are Plentzia-Gorliz and Bakio. Excursions can be made to Butron Castle, San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, the Animated Forest of Oma, the Guggenheim Museum, the Olentzero House, as well as hiking and biking tours along the GR-280 trail.

It is located near the Zamudio Technology Park and the Mungia and Berreaga Mendi Industrial Estates.
