How to get here

Bus.
There are several Bizkaibus lines that connect with Lekeitio if you come from nearby towns. From Bilbao, every hour, the A3512 Bilbao-Lekeitio (motorway), which makes the most direct route, leaves, but the A3513 and A3523 also take it to the village, but with more stops. If you come from San Sebastian, you can take the service of the company Lurraldebus Donostia-Lekeitio to get to the town.

Car.
From Bilbao to Lekeitio is 58 kilometers away, an hour's drive. The fastest way to get from Bilbao is the A-8 in the San Sebastian sense. It must be left at exit 18 (Amorebieta-Etxano) and then passed to road BI-635 towards Gernika-Lumo. Once in Gernika, take road BI-638 towards Lekeitio. From Vitoria-Gasteiz, take the N-240 to Bilbao/Durango/Bergara. We'll take Legutiano A-623 until we get to Durango. In Durango, we will take road N-634 towards Markina-Xemein. When we get to Markina, we'll follow the BI-2405 towards Lekeitio.
