There is a large building, which is home to a tourist office, the traditional restaurant of the Fishermen's Guild, the fish auction room and a Maritime History Interpretation Centre (Santurtzi Itsoa Museoa) at the start of the route.
The stretch along the seawall is 800 metros (round trip, there are benches to sit on and different points of interest, such as the hand crane, the monument to the Children of the Spanish Civil War and the sculpture of Our Lady of El Carmen.
