Description
It still operates as a fishing port, although it also used by a considerable number recreational craft.
The town of Elantxobe clings to the hillside overlooking the sea. Its steep cobbled streets are worth a visit. (Turismo Euskadi.eus)

By car:
From Bilbao and San Sebastián, take the A-8 highway to Amorebieta-Etxano, and then continue along the BI-635 to Gernika-Lumo before then taking the BI-2238; finally, continue along the BI-3237; From Vitoria, take the N-622 road, joining the AP-68 to Exit 1 and then take the A-8 to Amorebieta-Etxano, and follow the same route.
