Very close to the center of Gernika begins the circular route through the upper estuary, 14 km that connect both banks through a pedestrian and cyclable walkway, which allows us to move from Gernika-Lumo to Kortezubi and Forua, or to reach the Murueta Punte viewpoint. Enjoying this walk through the estuary you can observe the adaptation of the different species to the rise and fall of the tides, as well as to the different landscapes arising from coexistence with human uses and uses in this environment.
